Three-dimensional ultrasound examination

- I level - STANDARD
Recommended statements:
For everybody who wants to pass ultrasound examination in screening terms (once per each term: 10-14 weeks of pregnancy, 20-24 weeks, 36-38 weeks). It is optimal for dynamic control over the pregnancy and excluding of latent complications.
Examination determines: number of fetus, presentation of fetus, its sex (II and III terms of pregnancy), localization of placenta, its thickness, structure, volume of water, term of pregnancy by size of fetus organs and serious defects of fetus: defects of extremities, face, internal organs, vertebal colomn. If necessary Doppler's examination may be carried out.
- II level - FUNCTIONAL
Recommended statements:
Is recommended for each expected mother in the term of pregnancy 18-27 weeks as a single examination for exclude congenital malformations (also in any term for women who give the higher attention to baby's health). This level is optimal if there are any complications during the pregnancy, including health of expected mother.
Procedure includes: all researchers of I level, complete anatomic and morphological evaluation of fetus state with revelation of overwhelming majority of congenital malformations, 3D demonstration of face, brain, skeleton on screen; estimation of weight and height of fetus (if necessary); Doppler's examination of placental blood flow, vessels of uterus and ovaries. Videotape recording in two-dimensional regime is taped, whereupon examination of fetus in three-dimensional regime is made.
All typed of three-dimensional ultrasound examination include:
- Obligatory medical certificate (obstetric examination is a conclusion about state of fetus)
- Video recording in three-dimensional regime (cost of video cassette is included to cost of examination).
